Dental Emergencies

Dental emergencies can be stressful, especially when they involve your child. Where it is a knocked-out tooth, dental injury, severe toothache, or swelling, we’re here to help. Our team will assess the situation and guide you to the best course of care. 

If your child experiences a dental emergency, please call our office as soon as possible so we can provide guidance and arrange an appointment when needed. For serious injuries involving difficulty breathing, uncontrolled bleeding, or loss of consciousness, please seek emergency medical care immediately.

Examples of Dental Emergencies:

  • Knocked-out baby or permanent tooth

  • Broken or cracked tooth from sports injury or fall

  • Swelling of the mouth/cheeks due to affected teeth

  • Severe tooth pain interfering with sleep and eating

  • Dental abscess

When in doubt, call us and we will determine if your child needs to be seen right away or if the concern can safely wait for a regular appointment.
